Rick Guidice was born and raised
in San Jose, California and now lives in Los Gatos, Ca. Rick started work
as an artist at the age of 16 doing architectural illustrations in an architectural
firm. He received a scholarship and attended the Academy of Art College in
San Francisco. At the age of 25 Rick started freelancing as an advertising

and design. His work caught the attention of NASA and a 15 year relationship
began where Rick produced many full color paintings of various space missions.
This work has been seen all over the world in print and in traveling shows.
Many of the paintings are on permanent display at NASA Ames Research
Center, California . Rick's interest in architecture
and his conceptual abilities have led him into building design and he is principal
of his own design firm. He has designed homes for many of Silicon Valley’s
leaders. Rick is now finding the time to continue his interest in fine
art, with travel watercolors, life drawing and plein air oil painting. Rick
has two daughters, Leslie and Stacy Guidice, who have their own graphic design
firm in Santa Cruz. Rick is married to Illustrator Susan Jaekel and they live
and work in their home studios in Los Gatos, California.
