Air Force Art

I was present for the first overseas deployment of the F-16 Viper Jet. The 428th Tactical Fighter Squadron from Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, took part In the Cope Elite Exercises in Hawaii.They were based at Kanehoe Marine Air Station, Oahu. Their days consisted of morning bombing missions to the Big Island of Hawaii. Afternoons were for air to air combat with local fighter groups.

The painting depicts an Ec-130e aircraft. Part of the 43d Electronic Combat Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, providing Airborne Command Control and communications capabilities for managing tactical Air Operations in war and other contingencies worldwide.
